Meet the Brown Lemur

The Brown Lemur is a charming primate native to Madagascar’s forests, known for its soft, reddish-brown fur and expressive face. Highly social and active during the day, these lemurs live in large family groups and communicate using a variety of vocalizations and scent markings. Brown Lemurs play a crucial role in their ecosystem by dispersing seeds, helping maintain forest health. Unfortunately, habitat loss and hunting have made them Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.
