Meet the Red Deer Stag

Red Deer is one of the largest species of deer, and the male Red Deer are called Red Stags. They inhabit most of Europe, Anatolia, Iran, and parts of Western Asia. They have also been known to inhabit the Atlas Mountains of Northern Afria. Red Deer have also been introduced to other areas such as Australia, the United States, New Zealand, Canada, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina.

About the Red Deer Stag

In Red Deer, only the male stags have antlers, and they are shed annually, typically at the end of each winter. When Red Deer are born, they are born spotted, as is common with many deer species, but they lose their spots by the end of summer. Red Deer typically like to inhabit open woodlands, grasslands, meadows, and valleys.
