Meet the Blesbok
Blesboks are natively found in southern Africa, and can still be found in large numbers in the area. They dislike wooded areas and are most often found in open grasslands. Blesboks have a distinctive white face and forehead.
About the Blesbok
Blesboks have a similar physical shape to rams and ewes. Humans, lions, leopards, African wild dogs, spotted hyenas, and cheetahs are the adult Blesbok’s primary predators. Jackals and eagles have been known to attack calves. The Blesbok is both farmed and hunted for its skin and meat and for trophies.
