Meet the Hampshire Pig
The Hampshire breed is possibly the oldest, early-American breed of hogs in existence today. The Hampshire hog as we know it today, originated in southern Scotland and Northern England. These pigs were known as the “Old English Breed”. Hampshire pigs are known for their intelligence, often being compared to dogs in terms of their ability to learn and follow commands.
