Meet the Addax

About the Addax

Addax are well-adapted to exist in a desert habitat, and they can live without water for long periods of time. They are native to the Sahara Desert in Africa. Addax are mainly active in the night, especially during the hot season. They are also able to track rainfall and will head to rainy areas where there is more vegetation. Social animals, they may live with others in herds of 5-20 individuals, both males and females.
