Meet the Bison
Bison are one of the two largest surviving terrestrial animals in North America and Europe. They are typically cloven hooved and are similar in appearance to other bovines such as cattle and true buffalo. They are broad and muscular with shaggy coats.

About the Bison
Bison are nomadic grazers and typically travel in herds. They can move at speeds up to 35 mph and cover long distances at a lumbering gallop. American Bison typically live in river valleys and on prairies or plains. They have few predators, but a few notable exceptions include grizzly bears, grey wolves, cougars, and humans.
